Vera looked over at her friends who were whispering to each other. The other girls at the table were glaring at her. "we have an audience." she smirked.

Vera smiled. She was debating in her mind whether he really meant to kiss her on the cheek or if he was just doing it for the girls watching. She shook her head and looked at the metal he was fiddling with. "what are you making?" she asked.
